Scope of Work :
ETL has provided ongoing environmental laboratory services for Abatement Testing Services LLC since 2021, supporting projects across multiple states. The laboratory performs a range of analytical services, including Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) asbestos analysis, Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM), mold analysis, and combustion by-product analysis.
The work supports more than 7,000 samples annually, with all analyses qualifying for same-day turnaround. Because projects originate from multiple locations and collection companies, the laboratory must accommodate varying project requirements while maintaining consistent reporting and quality standards.
ETC's Role :
ETL serves as the laboratory analysis provider for Abatement Testing Services, processing environmental samples submitted by third-party collection companies working across numerous states. Before analysis begins, laboratory staff review project documentation to verify that chain-of-custody records and required project information are complete.
ETL uses a digital document verification process to identify missing signatures or incomplete paperwork before samples enter analysis. This hands-on review helps prevent reporting delays and creates a more consistent workflow, even when submissions come from multiple organizations using different documentation practices.
In addition to supporting several analytical methods through a single laboratory, ETL maintains the staffing and laboratory capacity necessary to meet demanding same-day turnaround requirements on high-volume submissions.
Results and Impact :
Since 2021, ETL has provided Abatement Testing Services with responsive laboratory support for more than 7,000 environmental samples each year. The laboratory routinely delivers same-day analysis across multiple testing methods while supporting projects spanning 16 states.
ETL has successfully processed same-day submissions of approximately 100 samples at one time while maintaining established quality-control procedures.
