ETC's Role :
Project Details
ETC has worked with Partner Engineering Services for more than six years, providing environmental sampling and testing support for multi-family housing projects throughout Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and other Midwest markets.
The work primarily focused on helping support HUD environmental compliance requirements for affordable housing properties. ETC conducted radon testing in occupied multi-family housing units in accordance with HUD Radon Policy requirements to help verify indoor air quality conditions and support tenant safety.
In addition to radon services, ETC also performed asbestos inspections, lead-based paint assessments, and other environmental sampling activities associated with housing rehabilitation, refinancing, and property management projects. Where additional concerns were identified, ETC provided mold assessments and industrial hygiene-related evaluations to support broader environmental compliance needs.
ETC prepared environmental documentation and reporting designed to meet HUD requirements while helping project teams identify environmental concerns requiring mitigation or corrective action. The company’s ability to coordinate testing across multiple properties and states helped support project timelines and compliance efforts for large housing portfolios.
Client Relationship
ETC continues to support Partner Engineering Services with environmental testing, sampling, and compliance services for housing and redevelopment projects requiring adherence to HUD, EPA, and OSHA requirements.
Results and Impact :
ETC’s environmental testing and reporting services helped support HUD compliance efforts for multi-family housing properties across multiple states and project types.
By providing radon testing, asbestos and lead assessments, and industrial hygiene support through a single environmental partner, ETC helped streamline environmental review processes and support safer housing conditions for residents and property staff.
The long-term relationship with Partner Engineering Services reflects ETC’s ability to manage environmental compliance work across large geographic areas while maintaining consistent reporting, communication, and project coordination.
