Confined Space Awareness
Working in confined spaces presents a unique set of hazards. This Confined Space training prepares workers for the challenges they may face and helps ensure that they are safe when working within tight spaces.
Students will learn what defines a confined space as well as examples of spaces they may find on the hob. This class will also explain the conditions that make confined spaces more hazardous. Workers must be trained when first assigned to duties in and around permit spaces; before there is a change in assigned duties; whenever there is a change in operations that presents a hazard; and whenever the permit-space entry procedures change. Certification of such training must be available for inspection by employees or their authorized representatives
