OSHA Lead Awareness Course
Our OSHA Lead Awareness course is a two-hour introductory training designed to educate employees on the fundamental aspects of lead exposure. This course provides essential information for identifying lead-containing materials and implementing safety measures to protect against lead exposure.
Course Overview
- Provides basic information on employee exposures to lead.
- Identifies materials on job sites that may potentially contain lead, such as paint, solder, and pipes.
- Details employer responsibilities to limit worker exposure.
Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for employees who work with or disturb lead-containing materials, including:
- Commercial and pre-1978 residential painters
- Construction and demolition workers
- Welders, torch cutters, sandblasters, and riveters
- Plumbers, electricians, and mechanical contractors
Course Topics Include:

- Health effects of lead exposure
- Identifying lead-containing building materials
