Who is Eligible?

Homes built before 1978

Lead-based paint was commonly used in homes built before this year. Older homes are at higher risk for lead exposure, making testing crucial.

Located in Kent County (excluding Grand Rapids)

This program is available to homeowners throughout Kent County, but Grand Rapids residents are not eligible.

Owner-occupied primary residence

Only homes that are lived in by the owner qualify for this free lead inspection and potential financial assistance.
